This is about you, actually. You, who’s been blamed for years. User error. Didn’t read the instructions. Pressed the wrong button.
It was never your fault. I learned that in fashion first. Nobody reads a manual for an outfit either. It fits, or it doesn’t.
I’ve spent my whole career styling humans. First with fabric. Now with pixels. Fashion taught me the rules early. “Every layer needs a reason, the best seams are invisible, patterns are everything, and good design should feel like it was made for you, because it was.” Screens didn’t change the rules. It changed the material.
I am Sahana Sood, Product Designer.
Curious by default. Intentional by choice. Obsessed with the details nobody notices, until they’re missing.

SealproofCanberra, Australia (Remote)- Wireframed the site, then designed and built the front end in Framer.
- Structured the page around proof: before and after, reviews, guarantees.
- Set up the CMS so new work goes live without a developer.

34°N StudioRemote- A childcare brand whose site was losing people to bugs and dead ends.
- Redesigning it, and building the mobile app alongside it.
- Retention is the brief. A site people return to, not one they endure.

- A foundation working across agriculture, environment, education and health.
- Redesigning a site built a decade ago, element by element, into something current.
- Modern, but not weightless. An organisation this old should still read as one.

Train OnArizona, United States (Remote)- Designed across the platform: desktop software, member app, nutrition, kiosk.
- Mapped one product onto three tiers, from enterprise chains to solo trainers.
- Designed the operational flows: booking, payroll, point of sale, check-in, CRM.
- Took the analytics layer from chart palette to the reports built on it.
- Carried each surface from research and IA through to build-ready spec.

- Sat between design and engineering, and closed the gap they kept falling into.
- Broke work into shippable pieces and assigned it across both teams.
- Held the dates, and the scope conversations that come with them.
- Tested every flow before release and sent back what did not hold.
- Spoke both languages, so design intent survived the handoff to build.

JZB StudiosRemote- Designed and built the site for an architecture studio working out of India.
- Let the work lead: six projects, named and placed, ahead of the studio copy.
- Matched the restraint the practice sells, in type, spacing and pace.
- Triaged the enquiry form by intent, so client work outranks vendor mail.

I want to say how impressed I’ve been with how quickly you’ve adapted and learned the different roles and responsibilities I’ve thrown your way over the last several months.
Your critical thinking regarding UI/UX and ability to identify potential issues and push back when needed is fantastic.
Really love the philosophy here. Keeping these memories separate from the mess of a regular phone gallery is such a smart design move.
Working with Sahana was a great experience. She didn’t just take a brief and turn it into a website, she understood the business, asked the right questions, and thought carefully about how we should present ourselves to customers.
I’m excited to see you continue to grow here and you’ve already exceeded expectations and I’m confident you’ll keep delivering incredible value to TrainOn. Keep pushing yourself! Your work is a critical part of the team’s success, and you’re doing an outstanding job.
One of the best designs I have seen so far today, keep it up.
The line about the typo is what got me, that’s such a specific, true detail, and it’s doing more emotional work than most apps manage in a whole feature list. The ’not a memorial, just somewhere quiet’ framing is the right instinct too; grief tech usually overshoots into ceremony when restraint is what people actually need.
’The way your mind already remembers people’ is a really strong product vision statement. Designing around emotional memory retrieval instead of chronological storage is a genuinely different angle.
The voicemail detail hit hard. The idea that grief doesn’t need a monument, just somewhere to revisit a specific person’s way of texting, that’s a very human insight to design around.

TRAIN ONSystems Thinking in Practice

The operating system for a modern fitness business, bringing its people, processes, and moving parts into one connected platform. TrainOn replaces fragmented tools and workflows with a smarter system designed to work as one.

A unified member experience across training, access, communication, and membership.

Food, water, training, steps and weight in one record. Everything that moves your healthspan, logged by tap, scan or voice.

A gym’s reception desk as a terminal. Two jobs, done standing up: check in, or join and walk out a member.
STANDALONEOne Product at a Time

A childcare brand losing people to bugs and dead ends. The site rebuilt around returning, with the mobile app built alongside it.

A yard you can see, price and book from a phone. Yardcraft designs on your real lot, then hands the plan to the people who build it.

A Canberra regrouting and resealing trade, rebuilt as a site that turns a leaking shower into a booked quote.

What is left of someone sits scattered across a phone. Heirloom holds it in one place and returns it one memory at a time.
